I'm wondering if we'll hear before the 10/22 crowd hits the four month mark. Two and a half weeks to go.

Maybe we will hear once they finish the first batch of FR. When's that?

I'm here! UR 11/18, no reject, no FR. Really want to hear something! anything (except a ding, of course).

So how about everybody shares their theory of what is up with our application...

My optimistic side says that Dean Tom is trying to determine whether to accept us outright or send us to faculty review (or perhaps whether to reject us outright or send us to faculty review). Now that the application deadline has passed all the applicants will be in for him to look at and figure out what to do with us.

My other theory? Our applications are lost...at the bottom of the ocean...under a rock...surrounded by a swarm of sharks.

Not sure yet which theory is more realistic.

UR since 12/14 and now I'm realizing it's not as long as many of you here! Wow!

And Jetsto our applications are in a folder that was knocked over behind the fax machine, collecting dust, lol...

They laughed when they read them and donated them to the homeless people in People's Park to use as blunt wraps.

Could any of this be regional? LIke maybe everybody is out of state or something?

I don't think so. I'm in state, same UR date as you.

I also don't have Berkeley stats. I feel like maybe it's an unofficial hold to see what the rest of the applicant pool looks like.

Don't you all think we would have gotten rejected last week if we were to get rejected?

There were a bunch more of us in this situation until last week!

Yeah, I agree with you. I think we're the borderline/unofficial hold pile. I have a feeling now that the applicant pool is complete, we'll start hearing. I'm hoping we're all on the borderline admit/FR pool (rather than FR/deny pool)!
