Top Law Schools

School is left out for obvious reasons, but this is a meeting I set up by contacting an assistant dean of admissions. They accepted and I'm heading there tomorrow.

My understanding is that an assistant dean is somewhat of a liason to the admissions committee. They recruit, handle logistics, etc., correct? I'm sure they have some say in terms of applicants, but I'm just not sure of the level. Regardless, leaving a good impression is paramount.

I'm thinking suit, well prepared with school knowledge, ready to discuss my experience, etc. What else would you all suggest?

Jersey Shore references, for small talk purposes.

don't do suit...button down and nice pants is all you need and even then you'll prob be more overdressed than the adcomm

You might be right - it will be Friday, after all. However, I was approaching this like an "interview" of sorts.

Yes but if the topic of "Snookie" comes up, that could end up dominating the entire discussion. I'm a 0L and aren't well versed in assault/battery/fist pumping laws yet.

I suggest you ask them to review my application immediately.
