Dear W&L,

Out of all law schools in Virginia, you are the only one that don't charge app fee. Seriously, that's how you increase your yield.

Edit: thumbs up to FunkyJD for pumping this thread

Thumbs up to the 6900 population in Lexington too. Not counting horses, of course.

BC
Dinged: Last week

Well, wasn't expecting to get in anyway and even IF I had I would have had to have thought long and hard about going. Boston is a soul-crushing, frozen, tundra of a city in the winter with no redeeming outdoor winter sports within a reasonable distance. So there. Plus it will forever be in New York's shadow. Plus people there can't pronounce their R's properly (among other letters).

And when BU rejects me within the next month or so, the same will go for them.

Texas,

Nevermind being a Texas resident and letting you know my affinity for your program in my PS, you still didn't even consider me worthy of a bump to regular decision or a waitlist.

Sorry I won't be gracing your school next year, at least your football team is pretty good... oh wait, nvm. Sorry bout ya.

Illinois,

I applied to you because it was free and suprisingly highly ranked. I'll forgive you for denying my greatness as there was no way I was paying sticker to go to school in urbana champaign.

Kentucky,

Sorry I have better ethics than your basketball coach and I was still denied. I have a lot in common with exceptional high school basketball players from the state, we get overlook. I'm not a fan of your school anyways along with the 75% of attorneys I work with who graduated there. Here's to hoping any final four Calipari win's gets vacated and maybe your basketball team will get the death penalty.

PS: You will never beat Tennessee in football, NEVER.

Sincerely,
Kentucky Resident

I second this. I will possibly be here soon(ish) to bash on WUSTL and Illinois. I hopefully will NOT have to come here to talk about Minnesota... But if I do, there will be plenty of things to say.

Dear UVA,

I didn't want to go to your school anyway. I only applied there in hopes of gaining leverage that I could use to negotiate with other schools. I would never go to school in a state that was on the losing side of the American Civil War. Go to hell, traitors.

I thought about posting that Virginia has produced more presidents than any other state, but then I remembered that the point of the thread was to vent frustration.

So, GTFO, Tom.

I'm not quite sure what "American Civil War" you are referring to. Do you mean the war of northern aggression*?

*Please note, the above comment is not meant to represent the views of the author, but rather to parody some residents of Virginia.

That's why I was joking, to help relax frustrations and allow venting. You misunderstand, it was meant in a good context.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
