Top Law Schools

I am on the low end for Boalt in terms of both GPA and LSAT, so I decided not to apply this fall. Since then, I have heard from a few people with similar numbers who have been accepted. Boalt's application deadline is 2/1.

Simple question: considering that this would be a reach in the best of circumstances, is there any point in sending in a carefully revised app two weeks before their deadline?
