Also 165/3.76 URM, also already sent LOCI via snail mail, and my prof is writing me a rec letter now.

is harvard too good/apathetic for a "PLZPLZ JUST LET ME IN I LIKE U DO U LIKE ME" LOCI?

Re: Held By Harvard Club - 2010
hey - joining the fun. held 1/11.
i'm out of school, so i don't really have much updating to do either, except to be like 'hey, i'm still here.'
edit: if i've recently done something pretty cool at my job (organised an event), what if i sent them an LOCI containing info about it / an agenda of the event?

I, too, am held. But I actually was thinking of having a flat out rejection so I'm pretty darn happy.

I like it. Might just print and send that one, after photoshopping "Harvard" instead of "Libya" (like the country? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be okay if my parents named me that...)PoorOrpheus wrote:Oh, like this one...parker09 wrote:yeah something like that. except i was going to make it all lowercase so i can dot my i's with hearts.PoorOrpheus wrote:parker09 wrote:is harvard too good/apathetic for a "PLZPLZ JUST LET ME IN I LIKE U DO U LIKE ME" LOCI?

Any guidelines for LOCIs?
I thought schools don't want you to "bother" them and a LOCI seems to be stating the obvious (to Harvard at least, maybe not to T3)
This could be a long.... drawn.... out....wait....

Its depressing there seems to be only hold/reject at this point, for people still awaiting a JR1.5ky wrote:CordeliusX wrote: Submitted 10/27, got my "complete" email 11/19. Nothing since then.

Re: Held By Harvard Club - 2010
I called HLS today to ask about file updates. For anyone interested:
- Have your recommender send a new LOR directly to HLS via mail, and they'll match it with your file.
- New resumes/LOCI should be sent by regular mail, and MUST include your signature on the bottom in order for your file to be updated.
Hope that helps, folks.

Anyone know if sending it by LSDAS will result in HLS not matching it to your file at this point?Kretzy wrote:I called HLS today to ask about file updates. For anyone interested:

Also, because my recommender is sending it, it won't have my signature - anyone know if this is still acceptable?

Joining the club. Stats in profile, no JR1. Better than a waitlist/rejection, right? But I'm not sure I can handle being in limbo too long. I'm already obsessive about my phone/email enough, now they have to throw this uncertainty at me. Sending an updated transcript and an additional LOR soon.
I think you can sign the LSDAS LOR cover letter, right? That's probably what they mean.Core wrote:Anyone know if sending it by LSDAS will result in HLS not matching it to your file at this point?Kretzy wrote:I called HLS today to ask about file updates. For anyone interested:
