Has anyone heard from UB yet?? I never got any info on a status checker either...

I was accepted a few weeks ago, submitted Dec 7th.

Just got an acceptance today, applied when app opened (Oct?) Got a nice hand written note on my acceptance letter

I was accepted back in early December with some $$.

I applied a couple of weeks ago- haven't received any word. Do they have a status checker ?I emailed Admissions to see if they received it- no response. Anyone have any info?

I never got one. I don't think they have one.

I applied back in Nov. Haven't heard a thing since.

Me either. I paid the app fee and everything but I have yet to receive any kind of confirmation from the school.

Very annoying! But good to know I'm not the only one.

Accepted w/$ by mail yesterday. Letter was dated the 21st. Applied late November.

In with $$ Friday as well.

Did you guys get e-mails before regular mail? I was accepted today via e-mail with some info about admitted student days, but nothing about scholarships.

I got the letter on Saturday and the e-mail today. Looks like the e-mail was just a generic one sent to everyone who is in their system listed as accepted. You'll probably get the letter in a few days. My letter was dated the 21st and it didn't get mailed until the 27th so you're probably in their computer as accepted and they just haven't sent their batch of mail out yet.

Anyone else notice that Buffalo seems to be more agressive this year with $$$ compared to last year? This is just based on data I see on LSN.

They usually have limited money to give out because they are a state funded school and tuition is already pretty cheap. After that donation they now have more to give out.

Anyone hear anything from UB lately? Called recently and basically got no where. Kinda frustrating because I want to go there.

I received acceptance on Monday via snail mail, dated 02/23/10 (I am on the West Coast). Submitted my app at the beginning of January.

The letter had a handwritten note, which was super nice, but I have had mixed results in email responses from them so I understand your frustration.

Can anyone tell me if the acceptance snail mail is a packet or just single letter you receive?

Mine was just a single letter, but in a bigger envelope. I actually thought it was just promotional stuff at first.
