Does getting a fee waiver increase chances?

So over the past couple of months i have been sent several fee waivers from some very good schools(No doubt due to my URM status- Native American) and was wondering if this in some way increases my chances at admission? Any thoughts?

No.
Edit: Just to elaborate a bit, it really depends on the school. Some schools give out fee waivers to those who, based on numbers, have a good shot at being accepted. Other schools give out fee waivers to those who are unlikely to get accepted so that the school can increase its selectivity ratings. And some schools do a little bit of both.
I think it's best not to read too much into it. If you are interested in possibly attending one of these schools, then take advantage of the fee waiver and submit an app.

Some schools (UVa, BU) give them out practically to everyone. Higher number of applicants --> higher rejection rate --> higher perceived admission competitiveness --> higher USNWR rankings.

schools do want to increase their URM admits if they have a low number of them.
but also can't a fee waiver be negative? schools don't want you because they know you can't afford it, or to raise their selectivity? wouldn't a school want the best numbers with everyone paying full tuition if possible?
