That's weird you might want to call and check, mine said Admissions Committee Review Pending since 12/16oberlin08 wrote:macatak911 wrote:Checked my status checker today and I'm in!
Congrats. My status checker has said "Incomplete" since I got the email saying "Your File is now complete" on 10/26/09
Apparently when the status says "Incomplete", it just means that its under review...
Definitely call and confirm like macatak said. I was just accepted a couple of days ago but while I was waiting I checked the status checker every few days and mine never said "Incomplete".oberlin08 wrote:

Yeah I'm probably going to call them later.TonyDigital wrote:You should call and ask. I did when I first found out I was accepted to ask about the $$. They were friendly and told me about the scholly right away.
I got $$ from Tulane but it'll still be expensive. Right now I'm torn 50/50 between LSU and Loyola. I think it'll boil down to whether or not LSU will entertain me with a scholarship negotiation. It's a tough choice.
I'm OOS for LSU. I got a nice scholly but a top 33% stipulation that I don't like. It's a big gamble especially being OOS and being top 40% and possibly losing the scholly. Anyhow, I want to practice in NO and Loyola gave me a better offer with what should be a much easier gpa requirement. I'll be at the ASD. And I like NO better than BR...that's just personal preference though.macatak911 wrote:Yeah I'm probably going to call them later.TonyDigital wrote:You should call and ask. You in state or out of state? LSU's in-state is basically a scholy. Live in NOLA so wouldn't have to get housing if I went the Tulane/Loyola route as I would with LSU. So Tulane with $$$ would probably financial wise come near close. I'm not paying sticker for Tulane though, that's crazy. Especially when I want to practice in LA.
I had completely shut down the idea of going to Loyola after not getting $$$. Might have to go to ASD after all.
153 lsat (above their 75% mark)SpencerPratt wrote:What are your #'s? I got WL'd with a 160. Screw them.
I don't know how the Loyola WL is, but do your best to get off of it - LOCIs, new LORs, visit, etc. Don't attend MS College unless you are fine with living in Jackson for the majority of your life at a small firm.captainmichael wrote:153 lsat (above their 75% mark)SpencerPratt wrote:What are your #'s? 3.121 gpa (above their 25% mark)
I need to find out before I send my seat deposit to Mississippi College, and I would like to attend the acceptance day to start meeting my classmates!
I will get off of it. It's just a question of when. Already sent a LOCI, and I'll send another one next week if needed, I have alumni writing/calling Loyola, and I may have another LoR being sent.deadpanic wrote: I don't know how the Loyola WL is, but do your best to get off of it - LOCIs, new LORs, visit, etc. Don't attend MS College unless you are fine with living in Jackson for the majority of your life at a small firm.
First seat deposits are due April 1st. Good luck with the WL...captainmichael wrote:Does anyone know when the first deposit deadline is? I'm trying to get an idea of when they might start picking people from the waitlist.
Thanks, it looks like I'm going to have to make some tough choices. The deposit for my second choice is due on the same day. Either I pay that and am out $250 or don't pay it and lose the security of having a backup if Loyola (for whatever reason) doesn't happen.TonyDigital wrote:First seat deposits are due April 1st.
