Well, unless you got a fee waiver, they
do owe you. The app fee is high enough that people deserve some consideration. Cornell exploits the fact that applicants can't fight back because all the power is in the law school's hands. If someone wants to go to Cornell--or an Ivy, and that person doesn't qualify for H/Y/P--they have to submit to this process, whether it's 3, 6, or 12 months.

Not really. Most schools will get back to you in less than 3 months. Even when applicants end up waiting 5-6 months, it's an
exception, not the norm.

If you finish a test early, do you expect a professor to grade it right then and get back to you before the test is even finished? No. He might, which would be awesome, but why should he or she be obligated to do that? Overly-high expectations ITT.

have to apply before the deadline--a long time before it, in fact. The flawed, crappy test/teacher analogy is a joke, right?
