I'm actually curious about this for me as well, seeing as how I gave off a more conservative vibe (I'm not saying that's a bad thing).Generally wrote:Someone should give me, and everyone here, 10 questions to determine political leanings.

So that was just loose impressions I've gotten if you all, nothing concrete! During the Duke thing way back when, if I remember correctly (I may not), Whacka was the only guy who actually was on Hilde and my feminist/liberal side. IMO a bit part of being liberal involves not just recognizing inequities as harming others, but also acknowledging how they benefit you. And in that specific instance (which obviously has its limits!) a lot of y'all seemed afraid if affirmative action, which gave me certain, possibly inaccurate, impressions if your political leanings.
Since then a lot if you have seemed a bit more on board with Hilde and my feminist leanings though

It's kind of hard to draw the ideological battle lines nowadays, with how a lot of the politicians have become caricatures. I would say I'm pretty liberal, in a 'I don't really care what people do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone' and 'free market does not equal rich people using the systems of government to maintain their privileges at the expense of everyone else'. But, I also support the TPP and a few other traditionally conservative economic policies (not taxes, because there absolutely needs to be a progressive tax). I'm also super anti-war, because I think it's a pretty awful thing to put soldiers through, especially when it's being done for no real reason.Hildegard15 wrote:I would edit DC a bit more towards the left. I think Bears and Muiraquita fit somewhere between Whacka and Based but I'm not sure where yet.
Edit: I'm actually not sure between DCC and Hoo2 but I think they are both pretty conservative
Doublehoo, you should have thought twice about fighting with me at the beginning of my time on here. Then you wouldn't have given off the conservative vibeJust kidding! Don't yell at me
Who knows? I really like Obama, and would vote for him again if I could. But I don't think he's super liberal, at least in a lot of his policies. He would have been much more center, if not almost to the right on some issues thirty years ago.
In the army's eyes I'm totally a pinko Communist hippie. Which is funny, because I hate hippies.

Maybe I should start making flagrantly inaccurate assertions about you til you have to whip it out to prove me wrong.doublehoohopeful wrote:barley wrote:You'd better let me read it to banish my false assumptions about youdoublehoohopeful wrote:Those of you who read my PS should be sensibly chuckling right now.barley wrote:

Personally I'm against abortion without extenuating circumstances, but I don't think it needs to be legislated against any further than it already is. That's all I got that's remotely conservative.Generally wrote:Is there anyone who is at all conservative in this thread?
