what is the lowest lsat harvard will accept ya think. because i saw someone got accepted with a 155...although he was URM i believe.

I have a hard time believing HLS ever dips below 165, even for URMs.

was your retake from dec 09? they may just have not gotten around to you yet.

conventional wisdom says not to write a LOCI until you've been held or WLed.

Okay guys--I could really use your help. I don't post a lot, but I have been following quite a few threads (particularly this one!) I've been UR since 11/23 with nary a peep from Harvard save for a complete e-mail dated 12/1. My 177 is a retake (I had a 169 the first time around) and my GPA is a 3.9 (updated from a 3.89 last semester--though my degree GPA is a 3.98 and the lower GPA is due to transfer credit from high school coursework). I haven't received a hold e-mail or anything, and I'm terrified I'm about to be flat-out rejected--is it too late to send an LOCI? From reading the threads, I'm fairly certain I'm alone in not having heard word of all the November applicants. I'd appreciate any wisdom you all might have!

that means that each of the 7,500 applicants have viewed it 20 times on average

I know as a matter of fact that this is not true. It would seem that way, but it does not hold up in reality. There are people there who got in in the 150s; I am 100% sure of that. Those people have 4.0s and published work and all sort of other deals, but there you go.

yea I think its because he's dealing with the deluge of december lsat apps. after that its on to the holds and other apps put aside.

I know as a matter of fact that this is not true. It would seem that way, but it does not hold up in reality. There are people there who got in in the 150s; I am 100% sure of that. Those people have 4.0s and published work and all sort of other deals, but there you go.

It's true some in the high 150's low 160's do get in but its few and far in between with some AMAZING softs and high GPA's.

I know someone who made it in with a 158 Black Female....but she had a 3.99 and some unbelievable accomplishments

Same boat as you. Submitted 11/17, UR 12/1, Complete e-mail 12/10. A bit higher LSAT, lower GPA. Worried but not going to send LOCI. Que será, será and all that.

To anyone's knowledge, have there been any JR1 emails gone out to people who took the December LSAT and submitted an application after 01/04? Law School numbers really needs to add a column for JR1 emails on the Harvard stats page.
