Has anyone that went complete on 11/19 hear anything yet?

On TLS alone, we've seen dozens of acceptances go to applicants who went complete on and after 11/19. If you want a clearer picture, check out lawschoolnumbers.com.JollyGreenGiant wrote:Has anyone that went complete on 11/19 hear anything yet?

I wouldn't say there are dozens who got the 11/19 complete email. I think most were after or around then.Dignan wrote:On TLS alone, we've seen dozens of acceptances go to applicants who went complete on and after 11/19. Agreed. That's why I wrote "on and after 11/19."amidea wrote:I wouldn't say there are dozens who got the 11/19 complete email. I'm asking specifically for 11/19. I know a couple of qualified applicants (not myself) who haven't heard a peep and they both went complete that day.Dignan wrote:On TLS alone, we've seen dozens of acceptances go to applicants who went complete on and after 11/19. Re: Harvard 2010!
Well, LSN lists 8 applicants who went complete on exactly 11/19 and who were later accepted. There are plenty of ostensibly qualified applicants on here who have not heard back from Harvard for weeks. They're Harvard; you can have a 3.9/174 and they'll waitlist or reject you if they feel like it.JollyGreenGiant wrote:I'm asking specifically for 11/19. Did they re-take LSAT in december? I'm wondering if this has affected the pre-Dec. batches. I would think it must... but there doesn't seem to be any correlation to me yet.JollyGreenGiant wrote: I'm asking specifically for 11/19. I submitted on 11/02 and got a complete email the same day so I guess if I don't get a hold email within the next week or so I'll assume I'm out of the running. Sigh.5ky wrote:Yep. Re: Harvard 2010!
If anyone subscribes the the theory that there's a pattern to when certain decision emails come out, then there's a batch of holds AND rejections to look forward to tomorrow. (That's what happened last Friday.)
Looks like this thread will be quite the party come morning.

thanks for clarifying!CordeliusX wrote:pinkhearts wrote:please do.kingabraham3 wrote:someone who knows what they're talking about should write a detailed post with all the different possible scenarios (jr1, jr2, hold, wl etc.) and explain when they should be expected or inferred etc.
3 Initial Scenarios.
Apply--> Reject
Apply-->Hold/Waitlist -->Reject or JR1
Apply-->JR1
JR1-->Reject or Waitlist(or Hold) or JR2
JR2=Acceptance

I am actually quite sick of feeling like I could get big news, good or bad, at any moment of any day. This sucks.

I was part of this group. I got my JR1 on 12/22 and he said that he had only gotten to my file a few days before. I think our group was uncharacteristically delayed. Submitted on 11/2JollyGreenGiant wrote:Has anyone that went complete on 11/19 hear anything yet?

Re: Harvard 2010!
Hahahahaha. This was me (Monday evening between Grand Central Station and Astor Place). I'm glad I came off as non-lecherous; she's a very old friend of mine. I am straight but is it really THAT surprising to see? And I feel terrible now about talking about it obnoxiously on the subway. Also I guess I didn't realize how much the way I talk about law school gives away what forums I lurk at. Thanks for the congrats and sorry you didn't say hi!gahthelaw wrote:i dont think so. i think he was mentioning how he hadn't seen her in so long, and they might have mentioned relationships? i dont know if he was straight, actually. (my bad if you are, 6 train TLSer. its just surprising to see someone carrying on a nice, obviously non lecherous conversation with a girl)englawyer wrote:was dropping the H-bomb a lame attempt at a pickup?gahthelaw wrote:unrelated to anything, but a few days ago i was on the 6 train downtown in NYC around 7pm, and i overheard this kid talking about getting into HLS. he was so obviously a TLS-er by his knowledge and use of acronyms that i almost butted in to ask him about it. however, since i restrained myself then, i'll post it now -- congrats, new HLS-admit obviously TLS kid on the 6 train going downtown talking to some girl.
I don't think I said CCN and definitely didn't say MVPB (what does that mean?) but I am still 99% positive this was me. Tall with brown hair, girl was short and strawberry blonde?gahthelaw wrote: my general feeling is that no one else would say "HLS" or "CCN" or "MVPB" IRL without being on TLS. safe assumption?
EDIT: Oh, I get it (MVPB).

MVPB = Michigan, Virginia, Penn, Berkeley, the third mini-tier of schools below HYS and CCN. You just learned another acronym!

Applied 10/22, was UR since 10/29, never got the JR1. Also, HLS was the furthest thing I had from a realistic option, so this was totally expected.
Good luck to everyone else! It was fun being in this thread and embracing beautiful uncertainty.
