Has anyone that went complete on 11/19 hear anything yet?

On TLS alone, we've seen dozens of acceptances go to applicants who went complete on and after 11/19. If you want a clearer picture, check out lawschoolnumbers.com.

I wouldn't say there are dozens who got the 11/19 complete email. I think most were after or around then.

Agreed. That's why I wrote "on and after 11/19."

I'm asking specifically for 11/19. I know a couple of qualified applicants (not myself) who haven't heard a peep and they both went complete that day.

Well, LSN lists 8 applicants who went complete on exactly 11/19 and who were later accepted. There are plenty of ostensibly qualified applicants on here who have not heard back from Harvard for weeks. They're Harvard; you can have a 3.9/174 and they'll waitlist or reject you if they feel like it.

Did they re-take LSAT in december? I'm wondering if this has affected the pre-Dec. batches. I would think it must... but there doesn't seem to be any correlation to me yet.

I submitted on 11/02 and got a complete email the same day so I guess if I don't get a hold email within the next week or so I'll assume I'm out of the running. Sigh.

If anyone subscribes the the theory that there's a pattern to when certain decision emails come out, then there's a batch of holds AND rejections to look forward to tomorrow. (That's what happened last Friday.)

Looks like this thread will be quite the party come morning. :(

please do.

3 Initial Scenarios.
Apply--> Reject
Apply-->Hold/Waitlist -->Reject or JR1
Apply-->JR1

JR1-->Reject or Waitlist(or Hold) or JR2

JR2=Acceptance
thanks for clarifying!

AND JR1s as well... you gotta think optimistically :mrgreen: ....................... :?

I am actually quite sick of feeling like I could get big news, good or bad, at any moment of any day. This sucks.

I was part of this group. I got my JR1 on 12/22 and he said that he had only gotten to my file a few days before. I think our group was uncharacteristically delayed. Submitted on 11/2

was dropping the H-bomb a lame attempt at a pickup?
i dont think so. i think he was mentioning how he hadn't seen her in so long, and they might have mentioned relationships? i dont know if he was straight, actually. (my bad if you are, 6 train TLSer. its just surprising to see someone carrying on a nice, obviously non lecherous conversation with a girl)
Hahahahaha. This was me (Monday evening between Grand Central Station and Astor Place). I'm glad I came off as non-lecherous; she's a very old friend of mine. I am straight but is it really THAT surprising to see? And I feel terrible now about talking about it obnoxiously on the subway. Also I guess I didn't realize how much the way I talk about law school gives away what forums I lurk at. Thanks for the congrats and sorry you didn't say hi!
gahthelaw wrote: my general feeling is that no one else would say "HLS" or "CCN" or "MVPB" IRL without being on TLS. safe assumption?
I don't think I said CCN and definitely didn't say MVPB (what does that mean?) but I am still 99% positive this was me. Tall with brown hair, girl was short and strawberry blonde?

EDIT: Oh, I get it (MVPB).

MVPB = Michigan, Virginia, Penn, Berkeley, the third mini-tier of schools below HYS and CCN. You just learned another acronym!

Thanks, but I am not too upset. It is easier when you 100% expect it.

Just got my ding via email too.

Applied 10/22, was UR since 10/29, never got the JR1. Also, HLS was the furthest thing I had from a realistic option, so this was totally expected.

Good luck to everyone else! It was fun being in this thread and embracing beautiful uncertainty.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
