NYCer with no envelope today either...
Since the first TLS acceptance was by someone who had submitted in Jan, I'm pretty sure they've looked at my app! Gahhhhhh, does this spell doom?

Nope! Dulcatis' LSN mining indicates there's definitely still a chance!Confused7 wrote:NYCer with no envelope today either...Since the first TLS acceptance was by someone who had submitted in Jan, I'm pretty sure they've looked at my app! Gahhhhhh, does this spell doom?

If there's no Manhattanite who got a packet, I think it might actually be the mythical reverse-NYU situation, where people in Brooklyn just got lucky. Or something is up with the mail.
I do not think its likely that everyone on this board who applied from Manhattan didn't get in.

Remember it looked like it was going to snow pretty bad this morning. I bet that slowed down the NYC postal service.

I will be so bummed tomorrow if nothing shows. Hopefully Monday was not the only day they've mailed acceptances out. Does anyone know when they start sending out holds/reserves?

Re: Columbia 2011!
So in summary of today, only people in NY (mainly brooklyn and a few NYC) got their acceptance letters today? And no one has reported a rejection/waitlist RD so far?
And the email thing only went to the old ED admits?

There's too many well qualified NYCers without a letter in this thread. I definitely predict good things to come tomorrow.
And eastern pennsylvania can has luck tomorrow too?

Although if I have to choose between the storm (read: snow day) and hearing a decision a few days early... I pick the snow. Sorry!
