Anecdotally, a good friend of mine got in yesterday. 169/3.6. Got status checker mid December ish.

I'm not sure about the Hispanic boost. I'm Hispanic and have a meaningful soft, and I know at least one of those is helping me, because I've outperformed my numbers so far.

I applied with basically the same thing except a 170. I figured it was worth a hail mary. But I probably just talked myself into thinking I have a chance because <3 Michigan.

There can't be quotas or a specified numeric boost, but URM can certainly be (and absolutely is) taken as a factor for insuring a diverse class.

I doubt that Mich would want to play around and make decisions based on URM since they're forbidden from doing so. Too lazy to go back and check but somewhere before page 100 someone quoted the Michigan law against this.

ETA: For anyone who's interested, pull up the LSN graphs. Tell me what those stray green dots in the lower GPA/LSAT areas say. I know it's a self-selected sample, but it clearly shows that there is a URM boost and it is important in Michigan.
