People earlier in the thread emailed them and got the status checker sent to them without a problem. Dont think getting your status checker slow means anything at all with Michigan.

I get that drop of adrenaline every time I check the Michigan ASW now that fellow 12/7'ers are getting their due.

This may have already been answered, but I am new to this forum and shamelessly lazy... Now, when I try to log into the ASW it sends me to the login for the status checker upon entering my ID and bday. Yes, I am sure I am trying to login to ASW and not the status checker. Anyone else have this/ know what it means?

Yeah, it means that you don't have access to the ASW and are being automatically re-routed to the status checker (where they assume you meant to go). Basically, you are not in (yet).

And what is this current pattern? I bet it's more likely that you are rerouted for more reading than being passed over, if indeed the pattern means anything at all.

Cf. Penn c/o 2015 thread for even more craziness at guessing about the dates, patterns, and meaning of it all.

Also, the graph on the OP has a pretty steady stream of admits all the way through for Michigan. But fill me in; what am I missing?

Thanks! The only reason I asked was I used to get the red text- can't log in stuff then it changed to this "re-routing". Thought there may be some significance, but alas I must wait some more.

Also got the good news today from the status checker!

Question - if you have "Zero awards found" in the financial aid section of the admitted students site, does that mean you're not getting a merit award? Or are they yet to be decided?

11/22 status checker recipient, too late for a why mich ya'll think? I was holding off til crunch time as a means to maintain contact with the school. Now I fear the ship has sailed.
