I'm fairly sure mayurins is also referring to the JR1 e-mail (as are englawyer and knola). No word for you either, twin?

i have this delusional optimism that JR2s are going to come today. that's the same optimism i've had all week to no avail, but it is still there despite four JR2-less days.....yeah, i know about the USS: optimism thread

I just got the Harvard rejection email. I like how the form letter says they have to deny many attractive candidates...but they don't say whether or not you are one of them.

Rejected by email too (applied 10/1?), totally expected. I thought the letter was pretty diplomatic though.

Thanks for the sympathy, but I'm fine. I submitted on a whim way back in the beginning of the cycle. I'm just glad they finally let me know.

Nope, nothing. I think I'll probably maintain hope until next week out of foolhardy optimism. Of course, if anyone in the Complete 1/7 crowd gets the emails...
