Anyone get an e-mail about an alumni luncheon in NYC with CEO/President of Priceline? Thinking about going?

As a deferred ED applicant, I feel like I should send a LOCI. Problem is, I have nothing new to add, except taking on a small leadership role in Teach for America. Is it worth it if all I have to say is "hey, I still have mediocre numbers, I still have a job, and I still want you?"

Maybe focus more on why you want to go to Cornell instead. Elaborate what you said in the application.franklyscarlet wrote:As a deferred ED applicant, I feel like I should send a LOCI. I got it too, but don't really feel like taking off work, think it's really worth going to? I'm always a bit iffy on those things.

I applied on Friday. I have a 3.62 and 168 (transcript will be updated to 3.64). Is it probably too late to get a spot with my numbers?

anyone else not sent in the LOCI after being deferred from EA? I am growing application cycle weary and can only muster up so much false enthusiasm in the name of misplaced hope.

Decided to too, mostly because I prefer GULC to Cornell.EMZE wrote:anyone else not sent in the LOCI after being deferred from EA? I am growing application cycle weary and can only muster up so much false enthusiasm in the name of misplaced hope.

Same here. I submitted around the same time, and my status is still "verifying materials for completion." I posted about this a page or two back, and someone else said he/she was in the same boat.lagirl wrote:Submitted 12/9 and still waiting to go complete... anyone else?

Also submitted 12/9, still verifying materials for completion. However, when I checked just now, the boxes under the specific application components were checked for the first time, so I'm hoping for that to change to "complete" sometime this week.lemon7 wrote:Same here. Any chance we'll really be waiting 'till April for an answer? I'm interested, but I doubt I can wait that long... I might need to move for summer start in early May... Can't wait that long to make a decision...Green Glass Windows wrote:+1. I'm really holding out for Cornell.JustE wrote:This is soooo slooooooowwwwww.....
