So, I just checked the mail and found two big white envelopes from Columbia law admissions in my building's communal package cabinet. Neither were for me, of course. I thought white envelopes were reserved for rejections/wl's, but these looked pretty thick. Has anyone received an acceptance in a color other than vomit?

Mine came in a big white envelope. One of those post office ones that are weird and puffy. The VCE and admissions binder were inside.

Hi everyone. There are 103 pages would someone mind a quick update on how it usually works at Columbia. complete...then?

Complete then nothing. The status checker is pointless. Generally dings come in late march or April (I think) by mail, waitlists happen from now on, usually in big waves, by email. The only other thing that might happen is a hold, though that's unlikely if you've just applied. That would come by email. If none of those things happen you just have to wait for the mail. They just started releasing decisions on 1/26ish. I don't think any January submits have gotten in yet. Once they do it'll be easier to gauge when you might hear back.

Reserve=destined for rejection (anyone know past year percentages?)

Hold= Will actually be rereviewed later in the season?
