So far 12/19 looks like a kiss of death.

Not sure if my ding came via status check first, but it had been updated to 12/19 after I received the e-mail on my phone.

On another note, I really hate to think I was rejected for something within my control. I wrote an addendum for my grad. school transcripts, and I wonder now if it came off as whiny bs. I also wrote a diversity statement about an educational hardship, and can't help but think it came off as disrespectful to others who have overcome much more. Makes me sick thinking about that, though I was careful and spent quite a lot of time on all of the essays. Blek!

So, dropping out of grad school and multiple LSATs is fair game for a ding, right? :|

Well I got the 12/19 update, my third one

11/11 -> 12/12 -> 12/19

It's possible I got another update over the weekend since I wasn't checking, though.

Machiavelli wrote:For my part I consider that it is better to be adventurous than cautious, because fortune is a woman, and if you wish to keep her under it is necessary to beat and ill-use her; and it is seen that she allows herself to be mastered by the adventurous rather than by those who go to work more coldly.
Not only do I think Machiavelli must have been talking about Cornell admissions, but this is also the part of the Prince where he invents science.
