The financial aid section of the ASW says I got $22,500! I think we concluded on previous pages that the amount is per year, but the "Award Year" is listed as "2013." What does that mean? Does it mean I only get it for two years? Does anyone else's say "2013?"

No. Michigan's status checker is a useless tease, since it doesn't update until long after you've received a decision by mail. You can either play the "log into ASW game" or wait, but don't bother with the status checker.

It's funny, I wasn't that keen on Michigan at the beginning of this cycle, but it's been moving up my list every week. I think a few other people here reported the same thing.

The former. It will likely change to decision around the time the packet reaches you.

Just checked ASW. My financial awards had read "zero awards found" followed by a paragraph which stated that it just meant that a decision on financial aid might be pending. Now it just reads "zero awards found." I guess that means I get zip.

Mich is weird with money. They give EDers money like they do to RDers. I'm really surprised I got scholly, but people with my numbers (ish) have often received 8-10k/year.
