Do I think it will help? No. Would I want to shoot every bullet? Yes.uconjak wrote:I have not heard anything from stanford, i am a long shot, just finished mock trial, going to nationals in DC. On april 12-14, i have a good shot at "all american attorney" should i send a note to stanford about it?

I'm slightly confused. If I haven't heard anything nearly 4 months after my 'complete' date, is that the same as being waitlisted? Or simply that they haven't got to me? forgot about me? I'm right on the line?
Should I send LOCI or wait for an actual notification of some kind?

Do you have anything to update? They know your still interested. Ive been under review for 4.5 months no word, others are at half a year, I would only send one if there is something outside of your application worth mentioningkatch wrote:I'm slightly confused. Well four months ago I was still in school. So, now I have my post-graduation job (nothing extra special, just a cookie cutter job). Also my mailing addressjbagelboy wrote:Do you have anything to update? They know your still interested. How much should I talk? Just submit an updated resume and say thanks? or should I write a page about why the school would be perfect for me?

For some reason I have a feeling that this will be the week I receive a decision. I have no justification for why, but I feel it nonetheless.

I've had these kinds of feelings before. Here's to hoping your gut is more right than mine.ohpobrecito wrote:For some reason I have a feeling that this will be the week I receive a decision. I have no justification for why, but I feel it nonetheless.

Best way to get into Stanford: say you'd withdraw if you got into H or Y.helix23 wrote:that's badasshdivine wrote:Stanford took too long. I just withdrew.

Yeah I already have H and Y. I was leaning toward those anyway over S--figured I may as well start looking into housing, etc., rather than keep waiting around.

Rumor has it, you can look into housing etc, without withdrawing first. Haha I just don't see the advantage in withdrawing if there is even a chance you might want to go somewherehdivine wrote:helix23 wrote:that's badasshdivine wrote:Stanford took too long. I just withdrew.

Re: Stanford C/O 2016 Applicants Thread
I see your point. Like I said above, S was already on the bottom of my list for the three. I think it's sometimes easier to make a decision when you have fewer choices to make said decision from. Knowing I was already liking Y and H better, I figured it would be easier just to make the decision between Y and H.ManOfTheMinute wrote:Rumor has it, you can look into housing etc, without withdrawing first.
