There's something wrong with the ASW page. Here's the trick. After attempting to log in the first time, the page will reload and your entry will be blank. Then click on the "current student" link in the upper right corner. You will then be sent to the Admitted Student page.

I just checked my fin aid. 54k total merit scholarship.

The trick worked for me - thanks.

And congratulations! 54k makes Michigan a great deal.

Wait, wait, I used this "Trick" and I got the blue admitted students site for the first time ever. Is this a glitch? Would I be able to get into the website somehow using this roundabout way if I wasn't in?

Yes! I do! It has all my info (addresses, phone, etc. all mine, all correct) and then it says Offer Package (including conditions of offer, portfolio, housing information and flash drive) approx. sent date 12/4/2011. That has to mean I'm in, right?

When I try the ASW page I just get red text, not the login fields wiped clean. So it seems like if you can login successfully, it is mistakenly rerouting back to the login page, but if you are not yet admitted you will just get the usual red text.

In your financial aid section, does it indicate renewability or anything? Mine just says 2013. Congrats on your offer!

Michigan doesn't offer one year financial aid. All financial aid is for all three years as long as you remain in good academic standing (higher than a 2.0). Dean Z last year could not recall anyone losing their scholarship because of grades. If you go below a 2.0 you are on academic probation anyway. I think Michigan's curve is to a 3.2 or so.

Now I'm confused. When I try it on Google Chrome, I get red text. When I try it on Firefox, no red text and the login fields are wiped clean. I'm not sure what this means (other than that I probably find a more productive pastime than obsessing over the ASW). I'm guessing the blank fields vs. red text is not much of an indicator here.

When you get rejected that would mean you got rejected. If you've been complete for a long time, it means you've been complete for a long time and no decision has been rendered.

I'm aware that isn't helpful. That is because nobody can look into the black box at any school and tell you where your application stands. Also, try looking back at the thread for information. Your question has been answered in the range of 50 times.

By nature of when you submitted you are going to have a rather long wait, but it won't preclude you from getting in. I submitted just before Thanksgiving last year and it took me about two months to hear back.
