I love getting cheese on my hash browns at Waffle House and then laughing about the fact that it's just a slice of cheese sitting on top of my hash browns.wmbuff wrote:Hash browns are my #2 potato. Sometimes I do that with gravy. Hashbrowns might be my favorite food on the planet. It's the only thing that I'm always in the mood for. Still voted for all the potatoes though, you know, because its wrong to discriminate.

Sometimes I just want to be able to drink an afternoon glass of wine to finish out my day. Or to be able to get a margarita when we go out for Tex-Mex. We have a no-alcohol policy at our office and you can't return to the office if you've had anything to drink. Can't even bring in champagne to celebrate something. UghBush v. i know we were talking about Ann Arbor the other day and there are sooooooooooooooooo many good places to get hash browns here. the best is Fleetwood Diner where you get the Hippie Hash which is a gloriously greasy combination of onions, peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, mushroom, and hashbrowns. i ususally get it with gyro meat and a side of eggs and you let the yolk run over it and it's borderline arousing.Mikey wrote:if you don't like hasbrowns, we ain't friends cuz you can't be trusted

3 acceptances, 1 waitlist, 1 denial. 8 more to go, though it feels like I already have all my decisions with the way the others have ghosted me.

You had me until broccoli. I love broccoli but I don't think I'd love broccoli in my hashbrowns.mwells56 wrote: i know we were talking about Ann Arbor the other day and there are sooooooooooooooooo many good places to get hash browns here. the best is Fleetwood Diner where you get the Hippie Hash which is a gloriously greasy combination of onions, peppers, broccoli, tomatoes, mushroom, and hashbrowns. i ususally get it with gyro meat and a side of eggs and you let the yolk run over it and it's borderline arousing.

Re: TLS c/o 2021 Applicants Thread
I've been seeing a lot of doomsaying about how top scores and the number of applications are up across the board. How much do y'all think this affects a numbers-based calculation of an individual's chances? Based on data from last year, I'm at the median LSAT and well above the 75th GPA for many of the schools I've applied to, but is there a chance adcomms don't really care about last year's median with all these new, juicy high scorers up for grabs? I mean, if the numbers show that they could easily make their median two points higher this year, will they just throw last year's numbers out of consideration?
Also, my two cents on hash browns: they've got to be crispy. I prefer the patties (trashy, I know), but if they're loose, they at least need a crispy crust on top. There's nothing sadder than a soggy mess of soft potato strips (other than maybe being ghosted by your dream school).
