:( I felt that way a few weeks ago. Then I gave it to someone else to read and once they told me it wasn't bad I felt much better.
I was the same. I worked really hard on my PS and started hating it precisely because I had been obsessive over every word for such a long time. Posted anonymously for feedback, and those who commented thought it was good. I'd be happy to look it over for you if you'd like!

I have two friends that just started at our undergraduate's law school, which is like a TTT school. I feel like they are constantly judging me and think I'm crazy for taking the LSAT again and taking a year off. So, they were all out with my other friend last night, and I just talked to her and apparently one of my friends said that what people don't get is that it doesn't matter where you go to law school because the law is everywhere and people are always going to need lawyers (this was clearly a veiled criticism of my choices). As we all know this is so completely false!!!! I really just want to send her the LST pages for her school and the schools I'm applying to, but that's a little mean. Plus it's not a big deal for her because she has a job in her family's firm when she graduates but still!

I just hope I do get into some really great schools so I can have something to show them that I'm not crazy and taking a year off was totally worth it, but I feel like it still won't be good enough. Obviously, I'm not trying to appease them and I know that I'm going to be way better off than if I had just gone to one of the schools I got into last cycle, but it's still annoying, you know?
:| Yeah, that definitely sounds annoying. I feel like the best strategy is to politely point out that their assertion above (which I bolded) is downright wrong. The legal market in the US is actually saturated with too many lawyers, which is why you see such a difficult job market and so many unemployed and underemployed lawyers. Just let them know that you're just putting your best foot forward and doing what you feel is best for you. Ultimately, their weird judgy-ness won't do anyone any good.

Ugh, I'm also training for a marathon, but had to back off for the last week because of an overuse injury. Da worst.

When is yours? Ours is in November and 10 miles destroyed me today. I am not sure I will make it by November. I just don't have enough time to train.
October. I had to skip my 15 and 16s. So the next two months will be a hot mess.
What's the most you have done so far? If you are at close to 15 and have two months left you should be solid. Not gonna lie I walked a couple miles of my 10 today
13.2. I feel like training will get easier come fall, since it's currently incredibly hot and humid here, and I imagine it's similar for you.
The heat and humidity down here in Georgia make it impossible for me to go past about 13 miles. It starts getting dangerous, especially since I hate running with water or anything.
