I forgot I even applied to UVA haha. I saw the "I know at times this process isn't always easy" and thought there's the ding email. Guess I have to wait a few more weeks for that though.

But I actually thought the email was nice - it pretty much proves they check these boards frequently and at least care how they are being perceived..so, yeah, nice in my book.

I too received one of the hang in there emails. UVA is the last school I have yet to hear from. Lets hope no one got the ding for a typo because the irony might just be too much to handle. I'd use the word EXCRUIATING but I feel as though someone already has.

A small unreasonable part of me flipped out when I saw the subject line of the "We're sorry" email because the interview request was nestled right below that email in my inbox. Waitlisted before I even got to interview???

But it was nice of them.
