My GPA is significantly below their 25th, which is why I wasn't going to apply because I didn't perform on my LSAT like I was on my PTs--I'm at their 50th.
I guess admission would be heavily influenced by your softs then. Would be pretty messed up if they were sending you these notices only to deny you though. Pretty sure they don't need the application fee that badly.

Harvard is officially holding my app (I asked them to!) until my Feb LSAT score comes out. While I think this was the right decision, I'm already panicking like "what if they reject me now because it will be so late in the cycle?!" I've already had my JS1. someone please tell me to chill.

Anyone have a sense of what percentage of JS1s at this point get admitted? Apologies if either this has already been asked or it's an impossible question to answer. Can't help but be curious!

As of a couple years ago it was 1200ish people getting JS1 and 900ish getting JS2. I've been assuming that those numbers are the same now

At this point I would say pretty close to 0% for this cycle :D
Historically 75%

I know this probably wins at least a bronze for douchiest comment, but being in the first wave of Columbia admits today has only made me more frustrated about my lack of a JS1. I mean, my numbers aren't auto-admit material, but they're definitely give-me-a-chance material. :|

Re: the cuban/peruvian that got a JS1 with 167/3.96 today - is it the consensus that cuban/peruvian does *not* get a URM boost?

asking b/c i want to know if 100% non-URM me has a shot

I'm inclined to think there's a small boost. Maybe not THE boost

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
