Pretty annoying that the Columbia app excludes parking violations from disclosure but apparently not speeding tickets. Guess I have to go try to find that ticket from 4 years ago...

"3. Have you ever, either as an adult or a juvenile, been cited, arrested, charged with, indicted, convicted or tried for, or pleaded guilty to, the commission
of any felony or misdemeanor or the violation of any law, except minor parking violations..?"

Actually, probably not. They're not misdemeanors in my state unless they're serious.
"or the violation of any law" <- speeding is the violation of a law

I just Googled it, looks like I am indeed supposed to disclose my speeding ticket. Bleh -_- good thing I frequent this thread or I probably wouldn't have haha

But seriously... Why do they care about speeding tickets?!!
According to a blog post, one speeding ticket doesn't really matter, but "twenty-five speeding tickets pre-law school is a troubling pattern of disregard for authority and the law"

Most ambiguous wording ever. Not sure if the traffic violation qualification goes with both sides of the or statement or just the pending charges portion.
I don't think a traffic violation technically constitutes a criminal offense which is why it wasn't included in the first part of the question. Most traffic violations would be misdemeanors, except for traffic felonies (but they're not technically violations) they'd be a criminal offense.....

This is my guess anyway.
I agree, based on that wording I would not feel the need to disclose a traffic violation unless it resulted in a criminal conviction.
