I'm interested in this program but I haven't found much about it on the internet. Does anyone know more about what they're looking for and what makes a competitive applicant?

For reference, I'm at a T50, with extensive experience in housing. I have experience with a lot of the areas that HUD administers, like the Fair Housing Act, Section 8, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, etc. I'm trying to figure out what else I should do to bolster my application.

Thanks!

I got hired for the 2023 HUD honors round in a regional office so I can give this a shot.

Median T14 Transfer. Non URM. Veteran. Summers at DOJ and Big Law. Internship with a Housing Non Profit. Relavent Clinic and Journal.

My vibe for my office was that they didn't care about where you went to school or your class rank. The entire focus of the interview was my experience. Since you have experience, I think you are well positioned to ace the interview.

Feel free to ask me any questions you may have
