Has anyone who received an informal offer been sent an official offer package yet? I’m wondering how long that takes. I’d like to start planning and telling people but I want it to be official first!
I'm not sure which agency you received your informal (tentative??) offer from but when I received an offer from the IRS it was a phone call explaining the offer and then shortly thereafter (I think the same day) I received a written tentative offer by email to sign electronically.
Same here. IRS field office called, tentative offer emailed almost immediately after call.

I think today is decision day for the National Office. At least, I heard so for a few of the smaller components like Investor Advocacy.

Has anyone heard from the SEC today? If so, which office (if you don't mind sharing).

Has anyone who's received a verbal offer from the SEC actually received a formal offer package? I got a call from HR before Thanksgiving with an offer but have yet to receive a formal offer package.

Exact same boat. I reached out and they said they're experiencing some internal delays but said packages are coming. Hang tight!

Don’t think anyone’s heard from NLRB yet. Their GC posted a long twitter thread this week about how if they don’t receive increased funding in this budget they will have to furlough existing staff so I wonder how much hiring they will actually do this year.

When you say no one has heard from NLRB, do you mean interviews or job offers? I haven't gotten an interview request, but I just assumed it was because they weren't interested. I'm assuming that's the case and they've conducted interviews but not given offers, but I'd like to confirm either way.

Has anyone gone through the background investigation process and can share their experience?

FWIW I interned at an agency last year so they already completed an investigation last year, if that’s relevant.

Interviewed with HUD (regional office) today and massively bombed the interview, so I guess that's one less person in the competition. Good luck to the rest of you!

During your HUD interview did you get a timeline of when you are going to hear about a decision?

No. My interview lasted around 50ish minutes, I got to ask a few questions, and then I ran out of time to ask about the timeline before they had to move on to the next interview. :/

From what I’ve heard no interviews yet. This happened last year too with them.

During my interview they said that they didn't have a super specific timeline to share but said that offers should be out by early 2023.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
