DHS Hours?

Post by forthecause » Wed Jan 05, 2022 10:58 am

I’m struggling to find reliable info on what the hours might be exactly at DHS in general and at ICE in particular. I know some people will say they work 50-60 in govt, and others will say they never work more than 40. Also, aware that ICE is in immigration court usually, which might come with more hours since it’s trial work, but, being that it’s a totally different species of trial, it actually might not come with more hours. Just hoping someone can give me more specific answers regarding DHS and ICE, which I’m starting to think is impossible.

There's a ton of backlog in the immigration courts. It's definitely going to be more than 40 hours a week.
