Has anyone here interviewed with FINRA? If so, when did you have your first interview, and have you heard anything about the second interview?

TIA
I heard back from FINRA about a second interview quickly after my first and have already had my second interview. I believe there will be a third if my second went well. Anyone else have data on finra?
Can you DM me? I'd like to compare interviews regarding when you had your first interview and when you heard about the second and then the second. For me, it's been about a week since my interview.
TIA

I applied right before christmas I believe. My first interview was the 13th and my second interview was a week ago.

Interesting. Mine was a week ago yesterday but have not heard about a second interview. I also applied right before Christmas and was contacted to schedule an interview around January 3.

Did you get an email for the second interview from HR or did they call you?

Email from HR to schedule the second. It was I think a business day or two after my first interview.

Just one more datapoint contributing to not having heard from the NLRB regarding an interview yet.

Regarding DOL SOL, I have interviewed and received a "still interested?" check-in email but have heard nothing for weeks now. Sounds like some (all?) regional spots have been filled but national is still not done?

Same here. I applied during the second cycle and interviewed in early January with two interviewers - one from national and one from a regional office. I have not heard from any regional office but also received a "still interested?" email for national. Good luck to you!

I think I interviewed back in September with National Office. However, I never received a "still interested?" email.

Has anyone heard anything from the SEC or CFPB? I know the SEC is still accepting applications so they might not have started extending interviews yet, but CFPB was due a long time ago. USAjobs still says "Referred".. But then again FDIC says something similar and I was notified I was out of the running there over a month ago.
Did you interview with CFPB? If not, then, like myself, you didn't make the cut. I don't think SEC started interviewing yet but could be wrong because FINRA sent invitations to interview by email last week
Most CFPB offices have completed hiring.

Haven't heard back from SEC on the Honors program.

Me again, on thursday last week I had another email from HR scheduling an offer meeting for Friday. On Friday, an offer was officially extended!

Damn. Would some people who got interviews (and/or offers) mind sharing their stats? Did you have relevant internship experience? I really thought I was competitive and didn't even get a first round interview.

Source/scope on CFPB claim if you can provide any more details? I interviewed with one division but haven't heard anything.

I got an rejection email this morning from DC and a regional office, so I’m guessing they made their choices already

Not that poster but it tracks with what I know. I had several interviews with one CFPB office and reached out to one of my interviewers since I hadn't heard anything. She told me that offers went out and were accepted around late December/early January. I did not get an official notice.

Edit: I don't want to unnecessarily worry someone. I want to add that I was told that every CFPB office/division does do their own hiring, so it's totally possible that other offices are not done. I'm just sharing what I know.

I'm currently trying to work a casual inquiry through a contact to a regional office to find out what TF is going on - will update here if I find anything out. FWIW, I applied to NLRB and DOL for the second posting in late Nov. - have had interview and "still interested" email for DOL national, literally zero movement on NLRB.

Not technically honors, but for the FAA entry level attorneys, I got an email asking for my practice area preferences, so there is some movement at least.

Anyone hear anything from SEC or FCC yet?

Huge relief - my contact (regional office) indicated that they've only just started to work out how many people they'll be hiring but it seems like we should get some movement soon.
So at least we know they're still working on it and we haven't all just gotten secretly rejected!

This isn’t an answer to your question, but I was also surprised to not get a CFPB interview. I guess they either got a lot of interest from elite applicants or they exerted a strong preference for past interns. Either way, you’re not alone!

Former NLRB General Counsel-side intern here: I reached out to my old boss earlier today asking for news on the Honors hiring timeline. I was told "HR is planning to send the certificates to the hiring committees for all three honors programs by the end of this week."

In other words, looks like we should be hearing from the NLRB soon!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
