It came from DOL directly! And no, I was always clear about to location constraints - I assume everyone just has to rank them again now haha
Good luck!
I tried reaching out to the Office for a status update and no response

Were you also asked to rank branches and the national office?bevisandbuttheadfan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 4:35 pmgot the same email and my status has not changed, still says referred for further consideration
I only applied for the national office. However, I have not heard anything beyond that. So this is helpful because it suggests what indicates still being under consideration.
Fwiw, I seem to recall one of the people on my panel saying there was one interview, they would recommend either the national or local branches and then the Office would caucus in November and then offers would go out in December. However, that timeline seems a little late compared to the other agencies moving to extending offers last week and this week.

Yes I had expressed interest in the regional offices and the national office, so I was asked to rank my preferences for nat'l and the five offices that the previous post had mentioned.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 5:31 pmWere you also asked to rank branches and the national office?bevisandbuttheadfan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 4:35 pmgot the same email and my status has not changed, still says referred for further consideration

And wrt the timeline, I was under the same impression - that December was when they were expecting to extend offers.

DOL historically says they will make offers in early December and historically is often late. What other agencies do isn't really relevant.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 5:31 pmWere you also asked to rank branches and the national office?bevisandbuttheadfan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 4:35 pmgot the same email and my status has not changed, still says referred for further consideration

DOL reopened applications, though, and the new posting closed last week. Unless they’re planning to turn around those applicants’ interviews extremely fast, January seems more likely.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 5:45 pmYes I had expressed interest in the regional offices and the national office, so I was asked to rank my preferences for nat'l and the five offices that the previous post had mentioned.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 5:31 pmWere you also asked to rank branches and the national office?bevisandbuttheadfan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 4:35 pmgot the same email and my status has not changed, still says referred for further consideration

I'm still waiting. The interviewers said that we'd know by the end of November so hopefully we hear something soon.

Did anyone here interview with Procedure and Administration in the National Office for IRS Honors Program?
If so, when did you interview? Did they call your references? Extend an offer?
