You guys think offers are coming out this week? Or is everyone on vacation?

Would it be a bad idea to ask an interviewer about an update if I have their contact info?

I think if there isn't any movement by tomorrow, it is safe to say there won't be any updates until 11/29.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:38 pmYou guys think offers are coming out this week? Or is everyone on vacation?

Yes, unless you have another offer with an imminent deadline. They haven’t forgotten about you, you’ll find out soon enough.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 2:58 pmWould it be a bad idea to ask an interviewer about an update if I have their contact info?

When you get an offer from OCIJ, do they specify which location? If so, do you guys mind sharing which locations you were chosen for? Thanks!

Which component is the offer from and which are you waiting on? If you don't mind sharing.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 3:07 pmI currently have an offer from one DOJ component (that I haven't accepted yet) and am a finalist for another (but haven't received an offer). Would sending an email to the latter component to ask for an update/notify them of my offer be appropriate, especially if I mention that they're my first choice? Or is it better to just wait it out?

Can anyone confirm if they have been offered from Tax-Civ? And would mind saying if you accepted or declined?

Has anyone who accepted an offer received the email from e-qip to start the background check? I haven't heard anything since I accepted my informal offer and wasn't sure if I needed to reach out again.

Just got a regrets email from USAO- Southern District of Florida. I was designated as a finalist, so if you didn’t get an email I guess you’re still in the running!

Yep, got an email from my component and submitted the e-qip early last week. Might be worth reaching out if you haven't heard by next week (since this past week was a holiday).Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 2:38 pmHas anyone who accepted an offer received the email from e-qip to start the background check? Re: DOJ Honors Program 2021-2022
My component in civil division asked us for a few basic pieces of information first, and after they process that, I think they'll send the e-qip soon. I wouldn't freak out about it - people ask about this every year. It'll take a while, but you should be fine. Like the last person said though, can't hurt to send an email next week if you haven't heard anything.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Nov 29, 2021 6:12 pmYep, got an email from my component and submitted the e-qip early last week.
