Thought it might be time to get a 2022 Fall Fellowships (Skadden, EJW, Justice Catalyst, etc.) thread going. Does anyone know if ACLU has started interviewing sponsorship candidates yet?

For people pursuing the Skadden, EJW, Justice Catalyst, etc. fellowships: where are you in the process? Have folks heard from host orgs yet? Still interviewing?

Just got notified by Skadden that I was chosen as a finalist, good luck to everyone!

P.S. maybe they're doing the calls earlier this year? I wasn't expecting one until after 5 PM EST.

Has anyone heard of any EJW movement? Past threads suggest the first round of invites usually go out in early November.

I have not heard anything yet aside from an email from EJW to let me know to keep them posted if there was any change in my career outlook

Interesting. Did you put something in your app that suggested ambiguity? Like an outstanding clerkship app or pending firm offer?

I don't believe so, I answered their question regarding if I had applied anywhere else with a straightforward answer by listing where I was applying (i.e., other public interest positions).

Got an email that my EJW app is still under consideration and that they've awarded 9 fellowships already. Has anyone heard about any more interviews in the past week or so?

Bumping to see if anyone has heard about any additional rounds of interviews this month or if things are moving slower this year?

EJW has selected 40% of its fellows for 2022. I still haven't heard of any interviews from friends/classmates who applied.

Yeah I got an email responding to the prospectus this fall and then a confirmation that they got my full app last month, but I haven't heard anything since. I think they said they'd interview in January and decide by mid-February.

Bumping to see if there's been any fellowship movement from any of the usual suspects.
