Re: 2022 Fellowships
I've had a couple of EJW interviews in the past 2 weeks. They're moving, doesn't sound like they're close to done but they're moving.

Did any other Justice Catalyst candidates get an email today that their application is still under consideration? Trying to figure out if it was a mass email or if they've done a round of culling.

I did as well, saying my app is still under consideration, and that I can expect to hear back in early- to mid-February whether I’ve been selected for an interview. That was my question too, whether they’ve done any interviews yet, or are planning on doing all of them in February.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 4:12 pmDid any other Justice Catalyst candidates get an email today that their application is still under consideration? Thanks. It sounds like they are maybe running behind the originally planned schedule and rather than doing interviews in January they will be conducted next month.

Appreciate this - was selected by one of the sponsors pulling hard for everyone! There's still quite a few people interviewing candidates it sounded like, in all of my conversations with the EJW folks.

Re: 2022 Fellowships
Sounds like EJW slowed down a bit over the past month. They handed out 6 fellowships since the last update email. I think the month before they had awarded over 30. Not sure if the slow down is related to the omicron spike and the impact that had on funders and such or it's standard practice.
Still no word from Justice Catalyst on my end or friends I know who applied.

Anyone heard anything on the Justice Catalyst front yet?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 12:34 pmSounds like EJW slowed down a bit over the past month. Other than the email from a few weeks back that said they'd contact you in early to mid-February if you were selected for an interview it's been silence on my end.
I believe at one of the webinars they said the number of fellows each year is based in part on the number of current projects they renew, and I believe the renewal process is around Jan/Feb, so perhaps they're running behind because they don't know how many people to renew and thus how many to offer for this year and don't want to over interview. Idk. That's rank speculation.

Re: 2022 Fellowships
I had an EJW interview recently. They said that interviews are moving consistently and that they've awarded a little more than 60% of the fellowships. They plan to wrap up interviews by the last week of March.
Still silence from Justice Catalyst on my end and from the handful of friends who applied.

For those following along, justice catalyst said they're running behind this year and should have interview invites for select candidates and an update to all candidates out by end of next week (March 4).
