Lateraling to DOJ/NSD

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Mar 18, 2021 5:24 pm

Anyone know what it takes?

Interested in doing so after a few years of non-federal work experience followed by clerkships.

highly unlikely unless you have some Nat Sec experience or coming from other federal prosecutorial offices.

Thanks. Any thoughts on whether that would have to be nat sec legal experience (whether at an agency OGC, JAG, the Hill, or something like biglaw doing sanctions/CFIUS) or could pre-law school experience be enough (e.g. military intelligence)?

Realize it's a long shot either way. Just curious.
