DOJ antitrust trial attorney

Post by ughbugchugplug » Sat Feb 27, 2021 8:47 am

I applied in January 2020 for the trial attorney position and haven’t heard a thing. Anyone hear anything for the NY branch? How long should I expect to wait to get a decision on my application? Are these as competitive positions as like SDNY USAO?

also applied but for Chicago. haven't heard anything either. my understanding is that it's a competitive gig in part bc the exit options are among the more lucrative as compared to other gov't jobs. not really expecting anything to come of this on my end.

I think that first round interviews have happened (are still happening?), at least in DC. No idea if they've moved onto the second round or made any decisions.
