Court of Appeals Staff Attorney Positions

I have not seen a thread for this, but has anyone else applied and interviewed for COA Staff Attorney positions that begin in 2021? Or does anyone have a timeline for when COAs may start interviewing candidates? I'm a 3L graduating May 2021 with COA SAO internship experience. I've applied to 11th, 7th, 2nd, and 3rd through OSCAR.

Boosting because I'm also interested in the timeline for Staff Attorney hiring, but for next year. Have the 2nd and 3rd Circuits finished hiring for 2021 yet?

OP here. The only intel I have is that 2nd Circuit hiring was delayed because of COVID, and that 3rd is going through resumes as we speak. Also wanting to boost so that some kind soul out there can ease my worries about the other COAs

They told me id get a decision a couple weeks after Thanksgiving. I know that they reached out to my references, but I haven’t heard from them yet.

Have not heard anything about my application, submitted in mid Oct. Out of curiosity can ya'll list the circuits you have applied for and how far along those have gone? I have applied for the 4th Cir. via Oscar and have heard nothing.

I’ve applied to 2nd, 4th, 8th, and 11th circuits. I’ve done a final interview with the 2nd Cir. and haven’t heard anything from the other three.

The possibility of a government shutdown and the lack of a final budget is likely to slow hiring as many of those offices like to have funding in hand before making offers even if funding for the judiciary really isn't what is at issue in the shutdown game.

Bumping for any updates. I'm guessing the 11th Circuit just wants as many applications as possible before they start moving since they posted on our Symplicity again and are interviewing at MPILCC for those of us in the Midwest.

Interview coming up with the 7th Circuit. Does anyone have info on questions to expect?
