Maybe the election stress got to them too and they are running behind lol. Plus, bureaucracy is always slower than anticipated.

It does seem to be taking awhile. ICE-OPLA scheduled the screener interview with only a few days notice. Maybe the callbacks will be similarly fast.

Me, too--OPLA. Does anyone know if we are interviewing with the office that is considering hiring us?

Did the DHS or ICE 2nd rounds come from individual people or a central e-mail? Just wondering more if they are staggered or all at once.

ICE came from a call from a specific field office.

Received an email this morning (11/12) for a DHS OGC second-round interview, to be held in two weeks. Panel includes OGC chief of staff and two attorney advisors. Email was from one of the attorney advisors.

I just received an email too. The notifications seem to be staggered.

When are they scheduling your 2nd rounds for? DHS and ICE told me they would not be telling you if you did not make it, until after everyone was selected and accepted. So just trying to figure it out on my own timelime. My assumption would be if you don't hear by this Friday, it's a no. But just wanted to see when interviews were.

ICE 2nd round interview scheduled for Wednesday. The scheduler asked for my availability for this week.

Different person here- mine is also tomorrow for second round DHS-OGC. They seem to be moving quickly.

They told me during my first interview too that they wouldn't notify people if you weren't selected until the new year after individuals accepted. They said if you got the position you'd know by mid December.

Are people still getting invitations to second interviews? Or should I assume by this point that I am put of the running?

They told me middle of December too! I guess I'm just confused since the Secretary Honors Program site says "OGC will notify successful applicants on or around November 25, 2020." So I wonder if this week's interviewees are first-choice applicants and next weeks are alternates and maybe they'll issue offers to those people next week and give them two weeks, and then mid-December reach out to alternates depending on who turns down the offer? I definitely can be reading too much into it though!

What do you all think?
