District Attorney's Office 2020 - Nassau County, Suffolk County, LI
I wanted to start a new thread regarding the 2020 interview selection for NY District Office.
I am particularly curious if people have heard back from Nassau County / Suffolk County DA office regarding 3rd round interviews. I had my panel interview a few weeks back and was wondering how long it might take to hear back from their offices. If not chosen, do they notify you that you were not selected to move forward? How long is the process of waiting to hear? Am I out of luck if I have not heard back by October 1? Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Do you mind sharing what the Suffolk County DA second round was like? I have my second round in less than a week and can't find much about the office.

I had my interview with Suffolk at the Riverhead office. I interviewed with three members of the DA's office. They asked me about my interests, why I wanted to be a prosecutor, and my previous experience. We discussed my writing sample, and then they threw a few hypos my way. Again, I thought it went well but I hadn't heard back. I really just want to know whether I would be contacted by their office one way or another so I'm not left hanging. How long have other people had to wait for Suffolk / Nassau to find out if they moved to third round?

Do you remember what the hypos were about?
Also how long after your first interview did they call you in for a second? They called me three hours after my first interview and I wonder if that’s how they roll with all their interviews.

Have you heard back from Suffolk regarding a 3rd round interview yet?

How far along are any of you in the application process for Suffolk (NY)? Awaiting third-round interviews? Has anyone accepted (or declined) an offer?

Same here, about a week and a half after my first round.

Still waiting to hear back from Nassau. Had 3rd round back in October and a few updates here and there. Anyone else?

Any word from Nassau? Radio silence from them.

I know someone that was rejected from Nassau after advancing, so if you haven't heard anything then you're likely still in the running.

What is the 3rd round in Nassau like? Is it a panel? And is the DA there?

I accepted around that time too. I'm glad to hear there are a few others. I'm starting to think about housing and was interested in hearing what others plan to do. Feel free to message me if you'd like to talk.

Has anyone received any correspondence from Suffolk after the Conditions of Employment letter? I just want to make sure I haven't missed anything as I've been back-and-forth a lot.
