Simpson Thatcher or Weil

I have received offers to join both Simpson Thatcher and Weil's private equity teams as a first year associate. I am interested in infrastructure private equity. Which firm is better for (i) infrastructure private equity and (ii) private equity? Any advice appreciated

Was your Weil offer from 3L recruiting or from 2L OCI?

Simpson Thacher hands down. Weil is better at some other corporate practice areas (notably bankruptcy but also some others), but STB is the #1 player in private equity.
