Dallas Firms That Send Litigators to DA's Offices

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Apr 25, 2021 10:43 am

Anyone know which, if any, Dallas firms farm out lit associates to DA's offices to get experience? I've heard of this being a thing, but haven't seen it discussed much. I'm curious if what I heard of was just a rare one-off or if there are firms out there doing it regularly.

The three that I've heard of are Akin Gump, Fish & Richardson, and Winston & Strawn. The program with the Dallas County DA's office is called "Lawyer on Loan." Based on some circumstantial (from the Google machine) evidence it appears that NRF and V&E might also participate or at least used to participate.
