When you think of becoming a partner at a law firm, which law firm would you like to be a partner at? One of the richest law firms in the world just announced its largest partner class! Kirkland and Ellis welcomed 145 partners this year this is their biggest class year of partners’ to-date. Last year there were 450 equity partners at Kirkland and Ellis and 636 non-equity partners. Kirkland is one of the leaders in salaries and bonuses, would you want to be a partner at Kirkland and Ellis?

Have you not seen the email from KE texas' managing partner back in April? Kirkland partners are psychopaths and devoid if any human characteristics. I rather have hemorrhoids for life than be a partner at Kirkland.

Work at K&E, so anon. Yeah, 1 partner is surely identical to the other 449  I don't want to be a partner, at K&E or anywhere that isn't a truly regional/local firm with much chiller hours and lower CoL, but I've worked with all of the equity partners in my group, and they're genuinely fantastic people. What a stupid post.

Also, admin, stop.

Assuming this question is going to be asked, I feel like the question would be better if phrased like this:

Anecdotally and/or based on your own observations (or even experiences to the extent we have partners posting in here), which amlaw50 firm do you think gives equity partners the best QOL? And if practice group is relevant, please include that in your thinking
