Holland & Knight Tampa Salary Scale

Post by GiveMeLiberty » Fri Feb 07, 2020 12:36 pm

Does anyone know what the salary scale for Holland and Knight in Tampa is? I know their major-market offices start at 190K and Miami was 180K last time I saw, but I'm assuming Tampa will be slightly less than Miami. Does anyone know what the starting salary is and what the average increases are? I'm trying to figure out what it would be for a 3rd or 4th year associate.

Also interested in Tampa big law salaries. At one point I heard big firms start first years at $145K, but that salary scale and bonuses are not market.

I'm not in Florida but I know their offices in Texas pay market for the first year or two and then stop increasing, so 3rd/4th years and especially higher are making substantially less than at peer firms.

HK Tampa starts at 145k (pre-covid cutbacks). As with basically every other Tampa biglaw office that I’m aware of, salary progression is compressed and bonus/raises are all individualized.
