Trade Group Salaries
Considering a role at an industry trade association, does anyone have data points for the pay for someone with 4-6 years of biglaw experience? There aren't many places to look for what's "market." Thx!

I am definitely not the expert here but my understanding is that trade group salaries are much lower than biglaw, maybe around the 150-250 range. Sorry if this isn't very helpful.

Working for a trade association, salaries are all over the place. Without knowing more about you, the more likely range is closer to $120 to $180k depending on industry, skillset, association's members, and association's needs. Also consider that trade associations can offer a lot of other benefits like relatively chill hours, top notch benefits, and an opportunity to build your skillset in other areas.
One resource are IRS 990s which all non-profits have to make available to the public and list salaries for the highest paid employees. ProPublica has a good database of IRS 990s, though it lags a little bit.
