In-House Salary Negotiation

Fortunate to have just received an in-house offer. Midlevel lit associate at a V30. All in comp is about 200, with 160ish base. How have others approached salary negotiations? Obviously this is a huge cut from biglaw. I'm interested in the role and will likely accept regardless, but I do not want to leave money on the table and this would be a big salary hit. What's a reasonable response/ask?

If any portion of total comp is equity, and I assume it is, ask for more. A classmate of mine asked for, and received, double the equity from the opening offer. I think he also got base comp bumped up 20k or so. He had multiple offers and used them as leverage.

How did your negotiation go? In similar position. Thanks!
