LR block

Post by IntellectualMode » Fri Aug 13, 2021 12:12 pm

Hi all,

I've gotta be honest, I'm desperately looking for a solution at this point in time.
I'm taking my test in the near future and my LR is just not good enough.

For every LR section,
I am consistently failing on 7-8 questions and I just don't know what I need to change to my
approach to correct these failings.

These questions typically feature a choice between 2 seemingly-plausible answer choices.
But in each and every single case where I pick the wrong answer and I lookup explanations online,
the same result always gets churned out - I fail to pickup on some minute detail that makes my answer
wrong and the correct answer correct.

I don't understand what I need to do to correct my approach.
If anyone can offer any sort of help, it would be appreciated.

You've got to start paying very close attention to the question types you're answering incorrectly. The key to improving on LR is targeting those types since different types require different reasoning. In other words, get better at LR question types (must be true, necessary assumption, etc.) rather than individual questions. You will see an improvement!
