Top Law Schools

Hi!

It's been two months into studying lsat. I had tough time because my reading skill was far below average. I started at 130s and now score 152 haha.

I have recently decided to take a shot for law school. Currently 24yo, I studied music since high school and frankly speaking studying isn't one of my strength. But I've always wanted to study and finally decided to do it.

I can commit about 50hrs/ week (which I am doing now) and take April LSAT in 2020. Then I would spend rest of the time prepping the application and apply in September 2020.My strategy is, for 30% of the day, to work on to improve my reading skill, and study for the lsat rest of the day.

I majored in music at CUNY in NYC. My gpa is 3.91. If I get 175+ on lsat, will I stand a chance for HYS?

Hi there, I remember your post from like a month ago and also remember it having a bunch of really good and thorough replies.

At the end of the day I'd really seriously ask yourself .... why do you want to be a lawyer?
And what do you want to do as a lawyer?

I'm not inviting you to answer those here but I remember those being my two big unanswered questions from you in the last thread, and are really the most important pieces you should be able to define for yourself.

Nobody here can tell you your hypothetical max score anyway.

Spend a little while studying and take a practice test and you'll have a decent idea.
Everyone has their own learning curve of course, but if you're not at least in the 160s relatively early in the process I wouldn't set an unrealistic target for yourself at 175 when you can certainly accomplish whatever goals you might have at any number of great non-HYS schools.
