Moving On From Topic to Topic

Hi,
I recently bought a 3 month LSAT study guide to help me pace myself as I prepare for the September exam. Im beginning with Logic Games and feel that I have a pretty decent grasp on a good number of basic linear games, but it seems like I can't quit get over the hump of missing one or two questions on each game. My question is, should I move on with the schedule to other topics like advanced linear games even though I'm still struggling with the basics? Will moving on hinder my understanding of basic linear games or help it by learning other types of logic games?
Thanks!
