I would really prefer not to take September

All the actual centers in DC were full last I checked. I really don't want to have to drive out of the city at 6:30AM in Sept or cancel my vacation that starts that weekend.

Closest one now is in UMaryland College Park. Really hesitant to spend another $180 GAH.

You're heading to Oktoberfest, no? Maybe delay the flight till the week after?

Ughhhh same I think. I registered today as an insurance policy. Most of the test centers in NYC were full so I'm slated for Staten Island, which I guess is better than New Jersey?

If you register before the score comes out, can you get a refund if you end up not needing to retake?

You can get a partial refund, which is only like $50 (so that sucks). On the other hand, if I ended up in New Brunswick I'd probably end up staying in a hotel the night before, which would be $$$...

I applied the past cycle. And I'm waitlisted at my first choice school. And live right across the street. It is a bit torturous.

Yeah! He actually has dry food available all the time but I like to supplement with wet food to fatten him up.

Why is that bad? I honestly wish I had taken it earlier, maybe sophomore year of college. Was more familiar with logic a couple more years ago than I am now (and I think I was generally mentally sharper then too tbh).

Wouldn't work. I was there last year and if I went it was to be there specifically for Pink Sunday which is the day after the test so it's either cancel the trip and take Sept or Go and delay til December because the thought of taking an undisclosed LSAT in a foreign country, on jet lag, and not being able to have my phone with me to navigate or literally talk for me in German is more than I could handle...

Interesting. I'm about 5 years out of college at this point and I actually did "study" (or what I thought was studying then) for the LSAT when I was a senior in college. I found that I was much better/more disciplined about everything this time around... maybe even a little sharper? It probably helps that I'm in grad school PT right now while working FT, so I've already learned how to tame my "oh, all I have to do for an A is just drink red bull and eat goldfish all night while cramming for this test" mentality.

My spouse is still out of town until next weekend and so I'm going to make some sangria and sit by the pool. And try to rekindle the friendships that I have neglected since studying...
