Closest one now is in UMaryland College Park. Really hesitant to spend another $180 GAH.vtdelt wrote:Mint-Berry_Crunch wrote:I would really prefer not to take September
All the actual centers in DC were full last I checked. I really don't want to have to drive out of the city at 6:30AM in Sept or cancel my vacation that starts that weekend.
You're heading to Oktoberfest, no? Maybe delay the flight till the week after?

You can get a partial refund, which is only like $50 (so that sucks). On the other hand, if I ended up in New Brunswick I'd probably end up staying in a hotel the night before, which would be $$$...Walliums wrote:If you register before the score comes out, can you get a refund if you end up not needing to retake?QueenBAYder wrote:Ughhhh same I think. I applied the past cycle. And I'm waitlisted at my first choice school. And live right across the street. It is a bit torturous.Amerision wrote:Are most of you applying this upcoming cycle? I'm at the end of my sophomore year so I'm still waiting out another cycle (applying Fall 2018).

Why is that bad? I honestly wish I had taken it earlier, maybe sophomore year of college. Was more familiar with logic a couple more years ago than I am now (and I think I was generally mentally sharper then too tbh).

Wouldn't work. I was there last year and if I went it was to be there specifically for Pink Sunday which is the day after the test so it's either cancel the trip and take Sept or Go and delay til December because the thought of taking an undisclosed LSAT in a foreign country, on jet lag, and not being able to have my phone with me to navigate or literally talk for me in German is more than I could handle...lynn.wibi wrote:Closest one now is in UMaryland College Park. Re: June 2017 Waiters Thread- Dowsing for 180s
Interesting. I'm about 5 years out of college at this point and I actually did "study" (or what I thought was studying then) for the LSAT when I was a senior in college. I found that I was much better/more disciplined about everything this time around... maybe even a little sharper? It probably helps that I'm in grad school PT right now while working FT, so I've already learned how to tame my "oh, all I have to do for an A is just drink red bull and eat goldfish all night while cramming for this test" mentality.Jack_Kelly wrote:Why is that bad?
